Laos is one of Southeast Asia's hidden gems. Often overlooked between its larger neighbors, Vietnam and Thailand, it became one of the most remarkable stops on my journey. Raw, authentic, and untouched, it offered experiences that truly challenged me, from navigating language barriers to embracing a travel pace free from Western distractions.
