Making a Dream Come True – What It Really Takes

As you may have seen on my website, my biggest dream is to create and present travel documentaries. I want to break down barriers between what we think is “normal” and what actually exists. To challenge prejudices, tell complete stories, and learn from new places, cultures, and people. I want to inform, entertain, and inspire viewers to choose curiosity—about the world and themselves. Whether through travel or by offering new perspectives on their own lives.
With a degree in psychology and creative studies, I’m on a mission to combine these fields with my love for travel—to make a difference, step by step, in the world and in the lives of those in it. But how do you actually turn a dream like this into reality?
People often don’t see how much work goes on behind the scenes. The blood, sweat, and tears. The sleepless nights. The times you have to pick yourself up after spiraling down. Think about movies: the hero struggles, and then that inspiring music starts—the montage. You see them train, fight, grow, all in a few minutes. In real life, it can take months, even years. And that often makes you wonder: where’s my inspiring music?
The truth is sometimes disappointing. It takes time. You keep putting in effort, learning, adjusting. Sometimes you take ten steps forward, only to slide back two. But that’s part of the process.
Imagine if we got everything we wished for instantly. We’d never learn to handle setbacks, never grow, never persevere when things get tough.
Fortunately, I’ve overcome many challenges already, and this dream is just another one. Where exactly this path will take me? I don’t know. Where it ends? I have no idea. But all my energy goes into the direction I believe will bring me closer to my goal—and that’s what really matters.
Life has no manual. There are no fixed rules, no standard path we all have to follow. Everyone has different dreams, different obstacles. There are no winners or losers. No set finish line, no dice rolling our steps for us.
We decide our own steps.
With my own hands on the ropes, I move toward my personal finish line, at my own pace. By keeping faith, staying curious, and working hard every single day.
